What should I do after winning an auction?

Order FAQ

After you WIN:

  • Click the Pay Here link directly from the winning auction page and enter in requested information.

  • Next you will enter your billing and shipping address. Full name and phone number are required.

Payment Selection:

You have 2 options, PayPal and Money Order. If you don't have a verified US confirmed address for PayPal, select Money Order. If you need modifications please select Money Order otherwise changes can not be made.

 Message for Alaska and Hawaii Winners:

You'll need to have the invoice adjusted for actual shipping charges listed on the eBay auction. Select Money Order as the payment method, then e-mail us with the order number so we can adjust it.
 

Making the Payment:

Can I get multiple auctions or other items added to my order?

We have 2 solutions for purchasing multiple items or auctions. You may win any number of our auctions and we could combine them into one order, or you may win one auction and request one or more additional units to be added onto your invoice.

 

Multiple Auction winnings: Just win the items before you create an order. You may win several auctions within a 7 day grace period. After you won the last item you may check out and follow standard procedure.

Single Auction won, adding more items: Checkout with Money Order option and get back to us with an order number. Submit # and request more units at the buy-it-now price.

My PayPal account was rejected, how do I pay?

There is a 10 day hold for such payments to clear. 10 day hold is started the day money is deposited.
 

Cashier's Check and Money Order

PayPal

1- We only accept U.S. verified  and confirmed addressed accounts and we can only ship to a confirmed billing address.

With exception of PayPal, all payments need a few days to get to our location then they are processed. You should expect your payment to arrive on the 4th business day from when you sent it out. If 7 days have gone by please e-mail us with reference/confirmation numbers.

We process payments the instant they are received. When we have received your payment we will send you a tracking number.

I want to come by for local pickup, do you offer will call?

Yes, but not for all items. so find out before you come over. Do standard checkout using Money Order for payment. Contact us with your order number since we have a remote facility and need to see if it's available.
After confirmation just let us know when you come over, our address is written on top of the invoice.

We will adjust your invoice when you come in for handling charge, we recommend you ask about handling charge before you come in. There will be a handling fee and California sales tax on all pickups. You can pay with only Cash or Cashiers Check.

Can we ship multiple items in a single shipment?

Yes, though combining shipments is not without restriction. Multiple items in a single shipment will depend on size, weight and number of items. Please note that our automated system will combine all orders no matter the size, however there are instances when we would need to ship separately:

 

  • Fragile items cannot go with other items.

  • Items with too great a difference in dimension.

  • Heavy or oversized items cannot go with smaller items.

  • Items are in original manufacturer boxes.

Are you able to send item to my PO Box?

Shipping FAQ

It is very important for us to make sure our clients receive our packages securely. We are only able to ship to a PO Box under certain conditions. PO Box shipments are more vulnerable to loss since tracking only records when item is left and not when customer actually receives it. If you qualify for a PO Box shipment, we reserve the right to request regular address at our discretion.

 

These are the conditions that prevent us from sending to a PO Box:

  • Value of sale exceeds $50

  • Shipment weight is over 1 pound

  • Dimensions of Box exceed 12x10x3 inches

Why can't you ship to Military addresses?

Though APO, FPO and similar addresses are considered US locations, USPS and UPS do not provide accurate tracking since they can't record if you received the item or not. It is out policy to ensure that tracking will lead to the customer only.

Is the freight quote in auction page final?

Shipping FAQ

No. There are too many factors involved in shipping freight, some unforeseen such as fuel surcharges. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust shipping quote even after we have given you a final invoice. Our handling charge will not change, although the final cost to the winner may be higher than we anticipated. ALL cost is on you. We will not declare a false value, we will post invoice on shipment.

Who is your default carrier?

Svl default carrier is UPS ground to anywhere in the continental US. We'll ship USPS when the product is less than 2 pounds. Shipping method is selected at our discretion.

What is your Policy for returning a "DOA" Item?

If the item you have received is defective, you can contact us within the warranty period. We will replace the defective item if a replacement is available, if not available a refund will be issued. Send email to ebay@svliquidate.com with support for your claim to obtain the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Merchandise must be sent back in the original packaging with RMA number which is valid for fourteen (14) days from date of issue. Returned packages without RMA number will not be accepted.
 

Policy for Returning your item:

  • No walk-in return service provided.

  • Buyer is responsible for all return shipping charges.

  • In some occasions we accept returned merchandise with a 20% restocking fee.

  • Merchandise must be carefully packed and insured for the full purchase price with tracking number.

  • Returned items must not have any signs of abuse or intentional damage. Serial numbers are recorded.

  • Merchandise must be returned within 14 days after RMA has been issued in original packaging with packing slip.

When you contact us you need evidence to support your claim:

Item is physically damaged, without carrier being at fault:
We require photographs of suspected area (s) of damage.
 

Computer component will not function:
Will require a diagnostic report. If the unit does function you will not get an RMA and you must locate the driver or other software.

 

You received the wrong item:
Send us your order number along with all information you can give on the item you received. Also, give the tracking number.
 

Another unlisted problem:
We will need adequate evidence so please describe the way received merchandise functions in comparison to how it should work
 

Returns will be DENIED if any of the following apply:

Expired:
You had item for 30 days or more or we have not received it within 14 days of RMA issue.
 

Needs items which were not included:
Batteries, AC Adapters, manuals, passwords, software or additional components needed for operation.
 

Misunderstanding:
You didn't know of used condition, missing items not seen the the photo or
incompatibility.
 

Cosmetic Imperfections:
Marked, scratched or not as new.

Damaged during shipping:
Notify us with photos and we will contact the carrier and file a claim. See Policy #3.
 

No DOA warranty stamp on auction page, instead the AS-IS stamp.

These are some other instances and special circumstances:

  • If you received multiple items, a partial exchange/ refund may be granted if a portion is determined to be DOA.

  • If you returned the item but we determined that you were not honest in your claim, you must pay shipping charges to get the item back.

  • When a negative feedback is left the RMA procedure is voided, you may remove feedback to continue RMA process.

  • In some occasions we accept returned merchandise with a 20% restocking fee. Returned items should be in the same condition and packaging as when sent. None of the shipping charges will be credited in such cases.

  • If package arrives visibly damaged, accept delivery and take photos of damaged area. When you e-mail us send the photos so we can file a claim with the carrier. Refunds will be available after carriers reimbursement.

What do I do when I get the RMA number?

Send item back with the RMA number on the outside of the box. Shipping is not compensated to send an RMA back. Merchandise must be carefully packed and insured for the full purchase price with tracking number. Item must be in our possession within (14) days or warranty offer expires.

 These are the terms and conditions of SVLiquidate. When you place a bid you agree to these terms.  

Time Limit:

Winner must complete an Order within 7 days from the end of the auction. An NPB warning will be filed if the payment is not received by then. After Order is created, payment must be received within 7 days of checkout. Time Limit applies to RMA's as well, see details for "Returns"
 

Item Description::

Special links are for reference only. If you do not see any manuals, software or cables in the picture we provide, those items are not included.
 

Compatibility:

We are liquidators and often purchase equipment without drivers, software, password and login codes, etc. It will be the buyer's item once it is bought and compatibility is on them. Incompatibility is not considered DOA, please research on your own terms.
 

Conclusion:
