What is your policy for returning a "DOA" Item?

Notice for AS-IS eBay Auctions:


If your auction is labeled "As-Is", we do not offer any returns, exchanges or refunds.


First read through these qualifications to return a "DOA" Item:

 

  1. You must have this 30 day DOA warranty stamp on your auction:

  2. You must e-mail us with evidence that supports your case. All guidelines are written on this page.

  3. If approved we would give you an RMA number to write on the box in order to send it back to us:

    RMA # eBay-(date accepted)-(Order #)-(expiration date of offer*)-(secret code)
    *All RMA offers expire on the 11th day from acceptance. Item must be in our possession within 10 days. We don't refund shipping cost when sending an item back.

     

  4. Within 2 weeks in our possession, we would notify you with results:
    -Sent a working unit or correct item
    -Sent a PayPal Refund (only applies if we are out of stock)
    -Denied, sender must pay shipping cost to receive item.



Your return may be accepted if any of the following apply:

  • Some features will not operate (dead port, etc.).

  • You received the wrong item.

  • Unit will not power on.

  • Item malfunctions.

  • Goods are damaged.

However, Returns will be DENIED if any of the following apply:

  • Item has been in your possession for 31 days or more.

  • Misunderstanding: You did not know of used condition or item is incompatible with your system. You should have asked.

  • Item was visibly damaged during shipment: In that case you should contact the carrier since the item is insured.

  • Operation is based on components that did not come with auction (battery, AC adapter).

  • Cosmetic imperfections from auction, item marked or scratched but works just fine.

  • No DOA warranty "stamp" on auction page, but instead an AS-IS notice.

These are some cases with other instances:

  • In some occasions we accept returned merchandise with a 20% restocking fee. Returned items should be in the same condition and packaging as when sent. None of the shipping charges will be credited in such cases.

  • If you received multiple items, a partial exchange may be granted if a portion is determined to be DOA.

  • If you returned the item but we determine that you were less than honest in your request, you must pay shipping charges to get the item back.

You must provide evidence of your claim through e-mail:

  • Item is physically damaged, without carrier being at fault:
    We require photographs of suspected area(s) of damage.

  • You received the wrong order:
    Send us your order number along with all information you can give on the item you received. Also, give the tracking number.

  • Computer component will not function:
    Will require a diagnostic report. If the unit does function you will not get an RMA and you must locate the driver or other software.

  • Another unlisted problem:
    We will need adequate evidence so please describe the way received merchandise functions in comparison to how it should work

What do I do when I get the RMA number?
Send item back with the RMA number on the outside of the box itself. Item and package need to be in original condition you received it in. Please make number legible since we would reject it if RMA number is incorrect. Shipping is not compensated.

What is the time frame I need to process the RMA?
You have 30 days from when you received the item to get an RMA. You have 2 weeks to send the item back to us after we send the RMA info. It may take up to 2 weeks to process and contact you regarding the status of your RMA.

Does getting an RMA mean I get a refund?
No. If we have another unit on hand we will exchange it. If we do not have another unit on hand, we will give you a refund.

Who pays for shipping?
You pay for shipping to us once you get an RMA. If we give an exchange we ship it out at no cost to you. If we deny your RMA we will ask you for shipping funds to send the item back to you.

I tried to get an RMA but why am I being ignored?
Most likely we just have not processed your RMA yet, it may take more than one day to get to it. Please note that if you leave a negative feedback before trying to resolve this issue you are showing that you do not want to resolve anything and we will not grant you an RMA.

I sent back my broken item why did you return it?
One of the reasons we may have returned it is because it did not have a true RMA number on it since we use a code. If we conclude that you lied to us or your item was not DOA, we will require original shipping cost to send the item back to you. If you do not pay return shipping we will not send your item out.
